Reasonably
priced and comfortable housing is available on the UCSD campus within
a short walking distance of the conference site. The apartments have
two bedrooms with shared living room and bathroom. All double rooms
have two single beds and are rented as either a single or a double
room.
Campus housing is available on a daily basis with a continental
breakfast included for the following morning. All other meals will
be provided by the conference, see below:
Saturday, 6/21: Welcome Reception
Sunday, 6/22: Box Lunch, Dinner Banquet
Monday, 6/23: Box Lunch
Additional nights for participants who want to arrive early or
stay late can be purchased. A fee schedule is printed on the registration
form. The pre-registration deadline for on-campus housing
is June 1, 2003. Registrations received after that date
aresubject to availability.

A telephone message service for incoming calls to conference participants
housed on campus will be set up. Please check the message board
at the Warren Conference Desk. The desk phone number is (858) 534-3811
and operates from 7:30am to midnight. For emergencies after midnight,
please call the above phone number and it will transfer to the on-call
clerk.
Smoking
UCSD has been designated by the University Chancellor as a non-smoking
environment. Smoking is not permitted within any buildings on the
campus. However, smoking is permitted on the grounds.
Parking
If you arrive by private or rental car, you will require a parking
permit. If you are housed on campus, a parking permit is included
in the package plan. Permits are required five (5) days a week,
Monday – Friday, from 7:00am – 11:00pm. Permits are
not required on weekends. Current rates (subject to change) are:
