Discount rates at the Radisson hotel La Jolla are available to those attending the the symposium. The rates are as follows:

Guest rooms rates are net, non-commissionable. The rates are are available 2 days prior and 2 days after the conference dates (June 22 & 23). All rates are subject to the prevailing city and state taxes. Currently taxes total 10.5% and are subject to change. A charge of $23 will be added for a thrid party person sharing a double room. This rate includes breakfast vouchers up to $10.45 + gratuity and tax.

Making Reservations

Reservations should be made as early as possible as rooms may be limited. The deadline to register is 5/21/03.

Reservations can be made directly calling the hotel at (858) 453-5500, or by calling Radisson Reservations at (800) 333-3333. Please make reference to the 'USCD Bioengineering Symposium' to receive the group rate. Alternatively, reservations may be made online at www.radisson.com/lajollaca and entering 'UCBIO' as the promotional code.

Parking

If you arrive by private or rental car, you will require a parking permit. If you are housed on campus, a parking permit is included in the package plan. Permits are required five (5) days a week, Monday – Friday, from 7:00am – 11:00pm. Permits are not required on weekends. Current rates (subject to change) are: $6.00/day.
